Craig Robinson detained for drug possession

“The Office” actor Craig Robinson was detained in the Bahamas for drug possession and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine on October 9, according to authorities.

The 41-year old actor was headed back to the United States after doing a comedy show when he was stopped by authorities as he tried to board a plane in Nassau. Custom agents found 18 ecstasy pills and a half gram of marijuana in his possession.

Robinson was taken into custody and pleaded guilty to two counts of drug possession. He told the court that he did not know that the drugs were illegal in the Bahamas when he brought them from the United States.

He was ordered by Magistrate Andrew Forbes to pay a $1,000 fine and to leave the country.

Marijuana possession court date pushed back for Nick Fairley

Nick Fairley, defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions, was arraigned on Tuesday for a marijuana possession arrest that took place in April. He will now have to wait to have his court date in July.

Fairley was arrested on July 31 during a routine traffic stop and police found that he was in possession of marijuana and he was arrested as a result.

The court date was pushed back so that representation for Fairley could have more time to review his case. He has currently been enlisted in an NFL substance abuse program and has passed each drug test that they have given him.

If you or a loved one has been arrested for a drug charge, this can have a serious effect on many aspects of your life. Contact the Dallas marijuana possession lawyers of the Law Office of Mark T. Lassiter by calling (214) 845-7007.
