Actor, Chace Crawford, makes deal in drug possession case

Actor and star of ‘Gossip Girl,’ Chace Crawford, has struck a deal involving his arrest for marijuana possession.

Crawford reached a deal with the judge that stated that he will pay for his arrest by completely 24 hours of community service and remain on probation.

The actor was arrested last summer in Plano, Texas when he was found with marijuana in his car. The charges will eventually drop off if he stays out of trouble and meets with a probation officer monthly.

Undercover officers find and arrest 3 in drug crimes

Three Dallas residents were recently arrested by undercover police officers for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.  Undercover Kaufman County police officers investigated the trio on several occasions for the illegal sale and purchase of prescription drugs.

The police officers arranged a time to meet with 43-year old Monty Lee Mixon, 53-year old Brenda Vrla and 43-year old Mark Wayne Newman and were able to purchase 30 hydrocodone pills from the three suspects.

The three were arrested on January 12th and are being held at the Kaufman Law Enforcement Center on $25,000 bonds each.  They will go to trial to determine whether or not the state jail felony charges are accurate.
