Marijuana possession court date pushed back for Nick Fairley

Nick Fairley, defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions, was arraigned on Tuesday for a marijuana possession arrest that took place in April. He will now have to wait to have his court date in July.

Fairley was arrested on July 31 during a routine traffic stop and police found that he was in possession of marijuana and he was arrested as a result.

The court date was pushed back so that representation for Fairley could have more time to review his case. He has currently been enlisted in an NFL substance abuse program and has passed each drug test that they have given him.
