Chris Brown arrested by LAPD for allegedly pointing a gun at a woman

27-year-old R&B singer-songwriter Chris Brown was arrested by members of the Los Angeles Police Department last Tuesday, August 30 after a daylong standoff at Brown’s residence. Police booked Brown after a woman alleged that he pointed a gun at her.

LAPD spokesman Lieutenant Chris Ramirez said they responded to a woman who requested police assistance at around 3:11 a.m. at Brown’s house. The SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) team stood outside Brown’s house waiting as the LAPD obtained a search warrant. During that time, Brown posted on Twitter: If only the “SWAT TEAM” showed up at crime scenes when innocent lives get taken, like they show up at people house over dumb phone calls.

Brown also posted videos on Instagram that contained his lashes at the police: “When you get the warrant, whatever you need, you gonna walk right up in here, and you gonna see nothing, you idiots. I’m tired of (expletive) dealing with you all. Y’all the worst gang in the world, the police.”
