Dallas steps up DWI patrol during holiday season

The Dallas Police Department has announced that they will be stepping up patrol over the holiday season in order to prevent impaired drivers from being on the roadway.

The police department is teaming up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Department of Transportation in order to make this DWI initiative as effective as possible.

The initiative will work to keep more patrol officers on the road so that impaired drivers will remain off of the road. Drunk driving during the holidays is much more likely because holiday parties usually serve alcohol.
