Bobby Brown arrested by LAPD for driving under the influence

Bobby Brown was pulled over in an L.A. neighborhood after police saw him talking on the phone while driving. It is now illegal in the state of California to talk on the phone while driving without a hands-free device.

After pulled over, the police officers conducted a field sobriety test and decided that Brown was driving impaired. He was arrested for a DUI and written a citation for talking on the phone while driving.

He faces a small fine for the phone violation and up to a $1,000 fine for the DUI plus jail time. This is Brown’s second DUI arrest, the first occurred in Georgia in 1996.
