While Dallas police investigated an accident on North Central Expressway, three separate DWI arrests were made.
The incident began after 11:40 p.m. on Monday night when police were investigating a suspected DWI crash and second vehicle struck the stopped patrol car.
There were no injuries, but both drivers were arrested for a suspected DWI. Just a little over an hour after the initial accident, the police officer, whose car was struck, stopped another driver for suspected drunk driving.
