Home raid results in large drug bust

During a home raid in Seguin on Thursday morning, police found tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs.

According to officials, police uncovered assault rifles, pistols, 300 pounds of cocaine and nearly 300 pills of ecstasy. A 30-year-old resident and his mother were at home during the raid and they both claim they do not know where the items came from.

The 30-year-old man said that his older brother, who is currently in prison, may have left these items behind. He stated that he is upset that his brother would do that and hopes that police do not blame him or his mother for the drugs. The incident is currently still under investigation.
