Suspect in bank robbery arrested by police

A 42-year-old man was arrested after fleeing from police while leaving the scene of a bank robbery at a Texas Wells Fargo.

After arresting the man, officials in Ohio tipped local law enforcement that the man was connected to three Ohio bank robberies. The man was arrested in Navasota, Texas, where the bank robbery occurred at 10:43 a.m.

In the Texas bank robbery, the suspect handed the teller a note that demanded money and he threatened to use a gun. After the man left, the teller called authorities and described the incident and the vehicle that the man got into. The description of the car matched up, but the man’s clothes did not.
