San Marcos officials search for persons involved in bank robbery

The San Marcos police are currently searching for the person or persons involved in a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at South Compass bank.

According to officials, a man walked into the bank at 12:14 p.m. and handed a note to one of the bank’s tellers. The note told the teller that the man had a weapon on him and the teller handed him an envelope of money.

The man then took the undisclosed amount of money and ran out. The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, 5 foot 10 inches tall. San Marcos police along with the FBI are investigating the case at this time.
