Four plead guilty in drug trafficking case

The U.S. Attorney General has announced that four people who were thought to be involved in a drug conspiracy have pleaded guilty.

According to information that was read in court, an investigation began into the Houston-based drug ring in August 2008.

The ring was trafficking  large amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine throughout the Houston and Beaumont area. Law enforcement agents went under cover to purchase drugs and revealed at least 40 people that were involved in the organization.
