Woman arrested on drug charges, found by police through text messages

A Texas woman was charged with drug charges after she was sending text messages to who she thought was a drug customer but was really a police officer.

The woman thought that she was scheduling a meeting with a customer in West Gentry Parkway, the woman had put the wrong number in her phone and began texting the officer instead. The police officer began to text the woman back and acted as if he wanted to buy marijuana from her.

The woman then told the officer where to meet and what car she would be in. The officer watched the woman in the parking lot and then pulled her over as she left the parking lot acting as if it was a routine traffic stop. Deputies than found marijuana in the vehicle. She was then charged and taken to jail.
