According to Dallas police, a baby was critically injured after a suspected drunk driver crashed into another car on the LBJ Freeway.
A 40-year-old Garland man was driving west on LBJ when he crashed into a stalled car in the road. A 1-year-old child and 2-year-old child, who were in the stalled car, were both injured in the accident. One of the children was reportedly in critical condition.
The driver of the car was also injured, he was pinned in his vehicle after the accident and was helped by rescue crews. He was later charged with driving while intoxicated after a blood sample revealed the presence of alcohol.
